IT Assistant Manager – Hospitality

Overview

Riviera Hospitality Search is seeking an experienced IT Assistant Manager on behalf of a hospitality organisation. The role will support the management of the hotel’s technology infrastructure and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems across the property.

The position works closely with operational teams to maintain reliable systems that support both guest services and internal hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the hotel’s IT systems and infrastructure

• Maintain hotel technology platforms including PMS, POS, network systems and security systems

• Provide technical support to hotel departments and troubleshoot IT issues

• Assist in managing servers, backups, and system updates

• Ensure stable and secure guest and staff network connectivity

• Support the implementation of IT security and data protection policies

• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers

• Assist with IT projects, upgrades and system improvements

 

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support or IT operations

• Experience in hospitality systems (Opera PMS, Micros POS or similar) is advantageous

• Knowledge of network infrastructure, servers and cybersecurity practices

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment

• Organised with strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple technical priorities
